Qognify has decided to adopt the AWS cloud as its core platform for its applicative services to provide with maximum performance and flexibility. The purpose of this activity is to migrate and modernize the Qognify Applications to AWS Cloud, providing Multi-AZ with high availability, Auto Scaling and Optimized cost model. In the technical objective, customer would like to achieve robust and modernized application, Build robust Landing zone with maximum security, monitoring and production readiness aspects.As part of this activity customer requires to build many capabilities for its organization and cloud platform including Landing Zone, Security & Compliance, Education and Training, Operation capabilities and several POCs, these shall provide main building blocks for successful application service migration and maintain Service Operation
Customer had several challenges with migrating platform, as customer was running its services on a local hosting single data-center with traditional application including physical direct network connection of physical cameras to its datacenter, streaming large bandwidth of video to its application services and local storage read and write of high capacity of IOPS.
Qognify needed to adopt AWS cloud capabilities, re-platform application including servers and storage, build CI/CD and full automations. In addition, billing and cost management was a major part and concern in this migration. In case customer has not migrated they would loose customers as they needed to stand with their competitors in the capability to have fast time to market for new capabilities, stand with flexibility of the platform and fast time for delivery as part of customer demand.
Commit has fully designed and deployed the complete solution for the customer. This included both Landing Zone and Cloud platform. Centralized transit gateway was built to support complex and efficient network communication including direct connect network. Full IaaC via Terraform, a complete CI/CD process and secured architecture including major focus of security and operational monitoring and integration with managed services and operations.
