Commit built a cost-effective data pipeline for Peer39

Peer39 invented the category of Pre Bid non-cookie based data starting with Semantic-based contextual categories, then Brand Safety and then Page Quality. Since then it has continued to scale at the pace of RTB and has brought to market many meaningful data points that advertisers find valuable, and predictable to use to scale their performance campaigns. In other words, Peer39 provides information to brands, advertisers and online merchants to improve the performance, scale and analysis of their digital media activity. The company provides clean information from cookies, which enables accurate, secure and customized targeting for target audiences.

Peer39 was looking to establish a cloud infrastructure for their entire operation. With billions of transactions of information every day, servicing unique clients around the globe, it would include the transfer from a local data center to the AWS cloud platform. The requirements, architecture and construction had to address aspects of performance, information security, ongoing deployment and scalability. Commit has designed an efficient data pipeline on AWS platform providing secure data stream utilizing the Upsolver platform for data enrichment. The solution utilized storage on Amazon S3, Querying with Amazon Athena, running data through on Kinesis streams and AWS Glue.

Utilizing its unique Flexible model, Commit, a leading AWS Consulting Partner, provided a mix of experts – both in expertise and in numbers – on demand, while providing ongoing reports, which meant the client could have full control over budget and schedules.

Throughout the project, Commit’s cloud architects actively optimized the AWS cloud resources, using FinOps methodologies. These make it possible to manage the financial aspect of the day-to-day cloud environment operations while ensuring significant financial savings. In addition, Commit integrated Peer39 as part of the AWS Activate program for startups. This gave it access to significant financing for the entire cloud migration process. Following the successful deployment and launch, Commit continued to provide managed services to the company.
