Tel Aviv - A smart City
Tel Aviv has been called many things: the first Hebrew city, the Big Orange, Capital of the Middle East, and the Nonstop City.
The last it achieved because of its bustling nightlife and thanks to its no less busy business and hi tech sectors. Tel Aviv made a decision to become a smart city, in order to continually provide optimal services to its residents.
One of the first companies to join this initiative was Commit -Israel’s leading globaltech services company, with offices in New York, Israel and Ukraine.
Since 2006, Commit has played a leading role in Tel-Aviv's Smart City strategies and initiatives. As a leader in integrative communications solutions, Commit's unique CommX communication suite was key to the successful establishment of both the municipality’s Unified Communications and its hotlines.
With an array of solutions and services in information security, ICT, and data centers, Commit also conducted infrastructure tenders for Tel Aviv, including the tender to establish cross-city WIFI for residents. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, Commit was there to ensure that communications between the Nonstop City and its occupants never stopped. The switchboards and telecommunications platforms were enhanced, thanks to the wide expertise Commit has – with over 500 multi-disciplinary innovation experts.
